The standard we build to

WCAG 2.1 Level AA. It is a specific, testable target rather than a statement of intent, which is why we name it.

What is in place

• Text contrast checked against AA ratios on every colour pairing used.
• Full keyboard navigation with a visible focus outline — nothing here needs a mouse.
• Descriptive alt text on product photography, not filenames.
• Headings in a real hierarchy, so a screen reader can skim the page the way sighted readers do.
• Layout that reflows to 320px and survives 200% text zoom without clipping.

Known gaps

Some manufacturer bullet text arrives with decorative characters that a screen reader announces awkwardly. We strip the worst of it during page generation, but the underlying text is not ours to rewrite entirely.

Reporting a barrier

Email hello@kimode-rugs.pages.dev with the page and what failed. Reports are triaged within two business days. If you need information from a page you cannot use, say so and we will send it in whatever format works — plain text, large print or over the phone on +1 (800) 555-0192.
