Changing your mind

Returns & Exchanges

The return goes back the way the money came

You paid Amazon, so Amazon takes it back and Amazon refunds it. This site never touched the payment and cannot reverse it. That is not a policy we chose to be strict about — there is simply no order here to refund against.

How to actually do it

  1. Open Your Orders in your Amazon account and find the mat.
  2. Choose Return or replace items and pick a reason. The reason matters: a fault and a change of mind are handled differently and can carry different costs.
  3. Amazon issues the label and tells you where to drop it. Follow their instructions, not ours.

The window, the label, whether return postage is free and how fast the refund lands are all set by Amazon and shown to you during that flow. We do not quote numbers for them here, because we would be quoting terms we cannot honour and cannot see change.

Do not post a mat to us

Our postal address takes written correspondence only. A mat sent there arrives with no order to match it against, no refund attached to it and nobody to sign for a rolled parcel — it is a package that helps nobody, least of all you, and getting it back out again is on you too.

Something faulty

Raise it through the same Amazon return flow, with a photograph — a seam that has opened, backing separating from the foam, a print flaw. Then, if you want, send the same photograph to hello@kimode-rugs.pages.dev. We cannot replace the mat, but a manufacturing fault is worth knowing about at the brand end, and a batch problem only ever surfaces because somebody bothered to mention it twice.

Avoiding the return in the first place

Most returns on mats are size and colour, not quality. Measure the run of floor you stand on rather than the room, and read the fibre before you buy: cushioned foam mats are wipe-clean, the hand-woven cotton ones are the machine-washable ones. The FAQ covers both, and an email to us before you order costs nothing.
